I recreated Zephyr's Dancing Red Maple photo by going to Bandamer Park in Ann Arbor and taking a photo of trees with the sun peaking through the leaves. I got to capture this part of the tree by laying in the grass and looking up into the tree and taking the photo. I edited this photo in Photoshop and lowered the brightness and then turned the photo to black and white. Zephyr's photo shows more of the tree branches than mine does, mine shows more of the trees leafs. But in the end I think the photos look pretty similar.

Compare and Contrast
For my 3 final photos I went to city parks near me, I chose to go to parks near me because Zephyr always stresses not having to go far to find beautiful photos. When editing these photos I added brightness to all of my photos because, all of Zephyr's photos are very bright and they pop when you look at them and I tried to add that element to my own photos. Another way I edited my photos to look more like Zephyr's was by playing around with the selective color tool on Photoshop, by doing this I was able to chose what colors I wanted to be more prominent in my photos. By doing that I was able to have the main colors in my photos pop and stand out more.
Of course my photos are not identical to Zephyr's, but that was not my goal, I just wanted to try to copy his style of photography and I think I was able to do that pretty well!
